Definitely not your ordinary drab homepage.
Uncle Badger's armadillo-wrestlin', jalapeņo-munchin' trouble-makin' nieces
and nephews.
A tribute to Uncle Badger's hometown of Uvalde Texas.
The only place to gain true insight into Finnish psyche.
A must-see for every true red-blooded Texas net surfer.
A must-see for all net surfers.
Like all good red-blooded Texas lads, since birth Brian's been nurished on a
diet of BBQ brisket, jalapeņo peppers, fajitas, menudo, beef jerky and Buffalo
steak. So he's quite a bit bigger now. Here is a recent photo of him and his new
baby brother, Sean, scrubbin' that Texas dirt out from under their nails after a
long, hard day on the range.
Brian is obsessed with
Choo-Choo trains. When he is not terrorizing Baby Sean with a pitchfork or a
branding iron, he's playing for hours on end with his Brio train set or vegin'
in front of the tube watching Thomas the Tank Engine while munching on a bucket
of jalapeņo peppers. Here are some of his favorite links.
It seems that Baby Sean has, however, developed in interest is snarfin' down
on Texas BBQ and
fajitas. A monster of a
baby he is; not even a year old and he must be pushin' 50 lbs (25 kilos). His
last visit to the pediatrician placed him in the one-hundred and sixth
percentile in height and the one-hundred and eigth percentile in weight. Last
night the head coach was here talking to him about trying out for varsity this
season. Here is a recent photo.
I visited the two little terrors last June and I am hoping to see them again
in January. Click here

Andrew, Sean, Brian, Brooke & Uncle
Jeff and Erin.
Texas, one hell of a
place, also Uvalde! Other worthless info
This is an old photo of Brian
and Uncle Badger before his baptism.
Badgers are well-known
for their prodigious breeding habits. Everybody knows the expression "to breed
like Badgers in heat". The Badger Sett keeps growing and growing. Baby Andrew
came into this world not too long ago - 14 lbs, 7 oz (7 kg). Like all stubborn
Texas lads, it seems that Baby Andrew wasn't going to come out until he was darn
well ready - 7 days his poor mother was in labor. He's growing leaps and bounds.
During my last trip home I spent the better part of my visit digging out more
space for these Badgerlings. Here is a photo.
News Flash
The Badgers keep coming and coming into this world, this time a girl! After six
straight Boy Badgerlings we were certain that there must be some kind of glitch
in the Badger gene pool. Fortunately, we were mistaken. It was with great joy we
welcomed Baby Brooke into the Badger Sett. Coincidentally enough - and
unbeknownst to her parents when they named here, Brooke (spelled "Broc",
pronounced "Brooke" in the Irish language means "Badger". Here is a photo.
Regretably, Uncle Badger has been a bit slow putting up more recent photos.
After much pestering, here are some updated ones:
